ADVENTURE // SAMPLE ONE-SHOT

Stop a Threat · The Celestial Palace

Rolled from labs/tables.json with fixed seed srpg-sample-2026-11-06. Every section quotes a table entry’s title and description — nothing invented beyond the framing notes below.

Resolve risky actions with the SRPG d6 roll-under mechanic. Use creature HD from Creatures only when the table text names a threat; do not invent new stats.

Reward

A valuable and rare trade or craft skill — A valuable and rare trade or craft skill.

Conclusion

The heroes realize that they have been played all along… — The heroes realize that they have been played all along and must confront the true puppet master behind the scenes.

At the table

Open with the Stubborn Farmer pointing the party toward the Celestial Palace and the threat that must be stopped. Use the non-hostile encounter as a breathing space or rumour source on the way up. Save the Lich Queen for the palace climax; the phylactery is the lever the tables give you — no extra creatures required. When the dust settles, the “reward” is a rare trade skill, and the conclusion twist reframes who was pulling the strings.
